Jennifer Aydin is defending herself amid backlash for body-shaming and misgendering a BravoCon 2023 fan.
During this past weekend’s three-day convention in Las Vegas, the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star lost her temper on a shady attendee who had asked her, “Do you think you could crawl any further up Teresa Giudice’s ass?”
Aydin stood up to school the woman — who was wearing an oversized sweatshirt and baseball cap — about what it means to have “good friends” before repeatedly calling her “big boy.”
“Insane that Jennifer’s go to is body shaming when she wouldn’t have what she has if it wasn’t for Bill. So vile,” one critic commented beneath Page Six’s Instagram video of the moment, referring to her plastic surgeon husband, Dr. Bill Aydin.
“Not knocking plastic surgery, but to be open about multiple lipo procedures then to call a woman ‘big boy’ — like, just ew all around. She’s the next Ramona. Just wait,” another added, referencing the racism scandal that got “Real Housewives of New York City” alum Ramona Singer axed from the network’s event.

A Twitter user then asked Jennifer, “Wondering what you’d do if a kid called one of your daughters a ‘BIG BOY with a big mouth’???? Body shaming and knowingly calling them [the] wrong gender. How would you feel?”
But the mother of five, 46, stood behind her behavior and explained, “My daughters would never start with something rude, and if they did, the[y] would deserve a response- & they know that. You can’t be rude to someone and then be shocked when they say something rude back. Actions have consequences.”
She claimed she would be “disappointed that they said something so rude” and would inform them “that they deserved it,” adding, “Bad behavior has repercussions So Live and learn and just Be Nice!”
Jennifer went on to say, “I took time away from my precious family to go to Vegas so I can be with all the amazing fans-to hug,engage & encourage them -to spread love-not hate. So I won’t take negativity from anyone w/out giving it back. Don’t come4me unless you wanna come back from me.”
The Bravolebrity then doubled down on her insult by commenting on a snippet of the ordeal, “The whale waddled out…”
